With all the dot com failures, I'm proud to say that I'm still here! I've been on the net since 1995 with this site and plan to be here a lot longer.

I've been into reptiles since I was around six years old when I found "Spike" an alligator snapping turtle. I have had several pets including "Y" the corn snake which I still own. I've also owned a pair of fox snakes, a sand boa and most every summer I have kept several garter snakes, red bellies, and countless turtles.

When I was researching snakes and other reptiles on the Internet, I found there was no central site for maintaining a list of herpe sites. So I started collecting URLs and decided to share them (and my pets) with everyone on the net.

NOTE: I do want to hear from other snake owners, but please no more requests asking me to supply research material for your home work! You see, I'm in school also and have similar reports to do! While I'd like to help, I just can't be researching your homework for you. You need to develop those skills yourself. That's why I have this Web site so you can find most of the major herpetological Web sites from the index. Please use the index to explore and research your assignments. Thank you for understanding.
